Wednesday Morning Workout Paddle

Early mornings are some of the best times to be out for a paddle on the Humboldt Bay. The smell of coffee being roasted wafts across the water from the Humboldt Bay Coffee Company. Birds of every variety are out in force, pecking and foraging about. Join Humboats every Wednesday morning for a workout paddle. We leave the docks at 7am sharp and spend an hour and a half paddling at a quick pace and doing exercises geared to make you a faster, stronger paddler with a refined forward stroke. This is great preparation for an upcoming trip or adventure race or if you just want to get out a stretch your arms a bit before a day of work.

Free to those of you with your own kayak and gear or just $15 to use one of our kayaks. Paddling attire appropriately suited to the time of year is a must no cotton clothing or jeans.

For Nature lovers in Humboldt County is there any better season than springtime here on the Northcoast! Birds, whales with babies, wildflowers and gorgeous sunsets all beckon us to the outdoors in a kayak. This is the time to sign up for our family style river trips and kayak through old growth redwood forest.
Our whale watching season has begun and we\'ll be running trips every weekend out of Trinidad Cove.
This season Humboats is making the leap to Stand-up-paddle boarding. We will have a full rental fleet and Guided local tours with our newest team member Daniel.
Our last bit of news is that humboats will be offering rentals once again from the pier on F st in old town Eureka, so stop by there or come see us at our Island shop. Happy paddling and take lots of picture.

Comments: The end of a great trip to the magical Sea of Cortez. We paddled and played for 5 days and nights. We took in the sights of Bahia de los Angeles and paddled through the myriad island chains there. Little brother Christopher accompanied me as a guide on this trip and we can\'t wait to go back again!!!
